Richard Stephen 'Richie' Sambora (born July 11, 1959) is an American rock guitarist, producer, musician, and singer/songwriter who was the longtime lead guitarist of the popular rock band Bon Jovi. He and frontman Jon Bon Jovi formed the primary songwriting unit of the band. In 2018, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Bon Jovi, and reunited with his former bandmates for a performance at the induction ceremony.
