Françoise returns to her native Brittany to teach at her alma mater to find that the past of this very particular place still exerts an inexorable pull. A rapturous ensemble piece about the tricks of time and memory, Suite Armoricaine is a work of grand themes and small, surprising details, bursting with ideas and emotion.
