When a seasonal worker named Lara Schnee is murdered in the mountains beyond Bad Gastein, former witness protection agent Lukas Geier recognizes disturbing parallels to the past of a man to whom he once provided a new identity. In a race against Detective Inspector Franziska Conte, Geier must secretly investigate whether he might have saved the wrong person after all.
