Fifty years have passed since the end of the Vietnam War—a conflict that played out directly on television screens. Across the streets of Sweden, FNL groups were a common sight; they held demonstrations, raised funds, and sold the *Vietnam-bulletinen* newsletter. Why did so many young people get involved? Those who were there at the time share their recollections of that era, the war, and the protests.
