Hadath fi Dimashq is a 2013 Syrian historical drama set across two timelines — Damascus in 1947 and New York in 2001. At its heart is Widad, a Syrian Jewish woman whose story spans decades of political upheaval, displacement, and unwavering love for her homeland. Through her eyes, the series explores coexistence, identity, and the Palestinian cause's profound impact on Syrian society, starring the acclaimed Sulaf Fawakherji.
